I cannot recall if it was when the French invaded Portugal, or if it was when Franco was ruling Spain, that the Spanish came to Serra do Mú and buried a treasure…
There’s a red house over yonder
But it was torn apart to avoid treasure hunters, trespassers or other dubious individuals that were unclear about their intentions. I don’t remember the house, don’t even know if it was red, white or just engraved with stone, and it’s remains don’t resemble any construction being there.
Maybe it’s just a myth and there’s no treasure at all, no gold coins or gems… Or maybe someone already found it and kept it… Who knows?
No one knows
