“25 years and my life is still
Trying to get up that
Great big hill of hope
Or whatever that means
What’s up by 4 Non Blondes
But their aren’t still, they have been moving Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos de Faro (ARCM) for 25 years, and I hope they continue to make a difference in the community for the years to come.
This event included lots of gigs, performances, theater and exhibits, but for me it was mostly about two particular gigs: Virgem Suta and An X Tasy. I do apologize to the remaining for not being part of this set of photos.
Virgem Suta, the dance had began!
In the future they might want to include a go go dancer in front of the stage, seducing the crowd, making love with every ones eyes. Well…It’s just an idea… The instrumental is very good! Almost rock n’ roll, but without the distinctive electric fuzz hovering around. They’ve even got old ladies jumping around the tune!
An X Tasy when the lights went off and the strobe began…
The revolution started, along with crowd surfing, war cries and the buzz of all those amps, that kept your head banging even if you were a first timer. Not quite sure if this was my third or forth time, but one thing I can assure, they always give a spectacular rock show. This time Mr X jumped from a small platform into the crowd, quite a drop I must say… Without broken bones, teeth or other accessories, he emerged once again on stage. The band…well, they were just having fun…
May they all have the strength to continue pursuing their dreams, and let us become greater supporters in the future!
